Fr. James Ahenkora was ordained for the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, Ghana on August 25, 2007. Having served in Accra for six years, he volunteered to be a fidei donum priest and served in the Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston, Jamaica for three years. He was previously the pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Council Bluffs, in the Des Moines diocese, Iowa  He began serving as pastor at OLIH in August of 2024.
