Silver Jubilee April 28, 2021 and today he is 29 years a priest

 

Fr. Ambrose Ladu John Daniel, son of John Lokolong Daniel and Rose Kaku Anthony, was born and raised in Juba South Sudan. After graduating from Supiri High School in 1988, he entered St. Paul’s National Major Seminary in 1989 and completed his priestly formation in 1995.

 

Since his ordination for the Archdiocese of Juba in 1996, he has served in different offices, ministries, and countries:

1.     In South Sudan (Archdiocese of Juba, 7 Years) - as Associate pastor, Pastor, vocation director, hospital and prison chaplain, diocesan youth chaplain, and diocesan chancellor.

2.     In South Africa (diocese of Pietersburg/Polokwane, 9 Years) – as Pastor, chairman of diocesan priest association, and in the college of consultors for the bishop.

3.     In USA (diocese of Des Moines, 13 Years to current) – as Refugee coordinator, associate pastor, and in the diocesan Tribunal.

 

Fr. Ambrose began as the Associate pastor of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Parish in Ankeny mid-July, 2025. Pray for Fr. Ambrose that the good Lord who called him to Serve us in OLIH parish will give him all the graces and blessings he need as our shepherd.
