How do I arrange a Baptism at OLIH?

Baptisms are normally celebrated in the church on the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month after the 5:00 pm Saturday or the 10:30 am Sunday Mass. If you want the baptism held during Mass, we need to make special arrangements with Father. First time parents must attend a Baptism Preparation class held via Zoom the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Please contact the church office to register for the class and to reserve a date for your child's baptism.

Baptisms for adults joining the Catholic Church typically occur at the Easter Vigil.  If you are an adult desiring to be baptized, see our Becoming Catholic page or contact Patty Mayer. If you have a youth over the age of seven that need to be baptized contact Randy Henderson.

*Baptisms are not held during Lent except in extenuating circumstances. Contact the office (515-964-3038) to schedule.
